Introducing Mermaid Tropical Brides, formed in March 2003 by owner and founder, Sheila Howsham.
Sheila has been sewing for 35 years, first trained in Manchester, England working in the Manufacturing Industry, making mens
suits raincoats teddy bears and Ladies Handbags.
After years of studying sewing, she then came to the USA and owned a small business in Michigan making Wedding gowns.
After travelling to seven different states, she formed her own business in California in 2003.
